Recycling to Save Lives
More than ever, local animal shelters need your help to save the lives of countless dogs and cats. By giving your items a second life in your local animal shelter, you're helping more than the environment, you're helping our four legged friends stay warm and dry while waiting for their forever homes. Shelters can use the following items you may be ready to recycle: newspaper (minus the slick ads), blankets, towels, rugs, cleaning supplies such as bleach, Lysol, fabric and dish detergent, cleaning cloths, and even pet supplies like leashes, collars, bowls and brushes. So don't throw away your old supplies when you buy new ones, recycle them instead.
